When you are about to deliver your baby, you need to come up with a birth plan. Creating a birth plan means that you are getting yourself prepared for all of the decisions that you will be facing during the actual delivery and you will be able to handle them when they come up.

Here are some factors that you need to consider before your delivery.

1. Who do you want to be around during the deliver and who do you want to help and be with you through labor?

2. Do you want to remain in bed during labor or do you want to walk around?

3. Which positions or activities do you want to try during labor?

4. What type of pain relief do you want?

5. How do you want your new baby to be cared for after your delivery?

6. Do you want to have some music in the room or do you want to wear your own clothing or a hospital gown?

We once were little enough to pretend
But years go by, as they tend.
No longer do we get to play,
The games we did on a summer day.

Why is it ending? It isn’t right.
We’re growing up overnight.
No more forts or climbing trees,
Running bases or scraping knees.

The sound of laughter has faded away,
Stuck in the past where it will stay.
We’ve lost our innocence to a stronger force,
Thrown into the world, landing off course.

I know its tough, we’re scared to go.
Our individuality, we must show.
We have to fight a little more,
For the rains will start, they’ll start to pour.
Through it all, will grow a little stronger.
Will make it through, just wait a little longer.
For our friendship has lasted through the years.
Through battles, changes, laughter and tears.

After it all, will make it through and smile.
Friends forever, the journey will be worthwhile.

3. Wear supportive shoes and avoid using high heels.
4. Do not sleep on your back and always keep your feet elevated.
5. Try wearing a support belt to support your back.
