Migraines
Migraine is a headache. Now that’s ironic. But seriously, a child with a migraine is really hard to deal with. This type of headache could keep them awake and crying. Here are some suggestions that will help you prevent them.
1. Make sure that they eat meals on time and that they never skip a meal.
2. Keep them at a regular sleeping schedule.
3. Make sure that they get daily exercise but never overdo it.
4. Find out what triggers the migraine and avoid those factors. The common stressors are intense exercise or changes in weather or altitude.
5. Avoid food that triggers migraine like cheese, processed meat, chocolate, nuts, pickles and those that are high in MSG.
