Why dogs bite children

There are numerous reasons as to why dogs tend to bite children more. Reasons such as their territorial behavior, anxiety and medical issues are just to name a few. If you have a pet dog and you have a 6 year old child, you have to keep a close look at them. Here are some of the main causes of a dog’s aggression.

1. Young children are more likely to be bitten when a dog feels that they are being threatened by the kid to take away their food or toys.
2. Dogs bite older children when they feel that they are taking over their territory.
3. If a child is familiar to the dog, he might be bitten while the dog is guarding his own food.
4. unfamiliar children could be bitten mainly because the dog was protecting his own territory.
