Feeding your baby
New parents need to know how often to feed their baby and how it changes as he matures. Here is a guideline that will help you plan the way you feed your baby.
1. Those who breast feed need to be fed once every 1 - 3 hours each day.
2. Those who are on a diet formula need to be fed every 2 to 4 hours because formula take longer to digest.
3. Never give your baby cow’s milk especially if he is younger than 1. It is difficult for an infant to digest.
4. Do not give any solid food until at least 4 or 6 months of age.
5. Introduce new foods one at a time and check for allergic reactions.
