It has been reported that BPA or Bisphenol A, a chemical found in plastic containers has been linked with cancer, hyperactivity and impaired immune function. This is very alarming and you might want to avoid putting your child in this kind of danger.

1. Avoid hard polycarbonate plastic that has BPA. Logically, go for the BPA free bottle.
2. Discard cloudy or scratched bottles.
3. Do not heat plastic bottles in the microwave. This will degrade the plastic and release the chemicals inside.
