I just noticed my kindergarten kid looking at their class picture and started kissing his teacher’s face, Ms. Smith. I thought it was a little bit bothering. I never thought that a kid would do that and so I called my neighbor for an advise before I confront my kid. She told me that her son went through that stage as well. She said it was perfectly normal for a kid to have a petty crush on their teacher since they would think that they are protected by a caring and passionate older person. The reason behind is that this person teaches them everyday and stays with them most of the time. Sooner or later they would realize that and will eventually stop on their own.
