Some couple who could not have a child of their own will opt to go to their local welfare department and adopt a child. This is not bad if they can handle the task of taking care of a child that happens to be not their own.

Step parents, as they usually call them, should take the initiative to give the child proper care, guidance, love and education as they grow older. If they become emotionally stable, it is proper for them to disclose the fact that they are adopted. Key point here is that they should be able to take care of the child and make them grow into better individuals who will someday help the society.
