Responding to Rudeness
As much as possible, we parents would not want our kids to be talking back in a rude manner. We want them to learn as much values as possible. However, we can never prevent the inevitable. There will come a time that they will answer back. How do we deal with it? First, give your child the chance to know what is right and to correct it all by himself or herself. Second, let them know that you will not respond to a rude language. Ignore them when they speak impolitely. This way, you will know that you will not listen. Lastly, teach them how to discuss things calmly and make them think of the right words to say under deep pressure. With this at hand, your child will learn from his or her mistakes in no time.
