Sleepover

There will come a point in time that your kids will enjoy a sleepover at their friend’s place or vice – versa. Last Saturday, my son’s friend slept over our place. He was just 4 years old, same as my son. My wife said they seem to be too young to be sleeping over. All I said was that it is never to young or too late for a sleepover unless they are ready for it. So what I did was, I talked to Mark’s (my son’s friend) parents and said the situation. I told them that they should somehow be prepared for a 1am call asking them to pick him up. Also, I gathered information about the kid like if he drinks milk or wants to wear socks at bed and the time he usually sleeps. This will help in dealing with the child and adjusting the way I speak. As far as it concerns me, sleep overs are fine and it will produce a good friendship between the two families.
